Roca is a Filipino freelance artist. He is a painter, children’s book illustrator, and a political cartoonist. He worked for Adarna House as an in-house artist, as an editorial illustrator for The Straits Times of Singapore, and an editorial cartoonist for The Manila Bulletin.

He is a member of Pitik Bulag, a partner-organization of the #FactsFirstPH coalition.

Sat’s Ire’s cartoon was the second ever published by a Filipino cartoonist in one of the largest news dailies in France. The first was a cartoon by Cartoonist ZACH, about the return of Marcoses to Malacañang.

Roca and Cartoonist ZACH are currently members of Cartooning for Peace. The Paris-based organization has an editorial partnership with Le Monde to publish cartoons on the front page after long-time cartoonist Plantu retired from Le Monde in 2021.
